A 22-year-old man is dead following a motorcycle crash near Gros Morne National Park yesterday.

Emergency responders were called to a single-vehicle crash on the Great Northern Peninsula Highway, south of Rocky Harbour, around 8:00 p.m.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The highway was partially closed overnight while the RCMP examined the scene.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been engaged.
