A 23-year-old visitor to the province is none the worse for her ordeal after a long night on the East Coast Trail.
The hiker suffered an injury while hiking on the way to the Spout.
The Rovers were deployed to locate and recover the injured woman with the help of a drone operator from the RNC.
She was located cold and wet, but otherwise fine around 5:00 this morning.
The RNC is reminding hikers to plan their routes, hike with others where possible, inform others of your plans, bring proper equipment, and wear appropriate footwear and bright clothes.
Hikers are also encouraged to bring extra layers of clothing in the event of a sudden change in weather, and to stay hydrated and have extra snacks.
