Capelin are rolling on beaches in the metro region.
Crowds have been flocking down to Middle Cove Beach to see what they can catch – meaning special traffic enforcement measures have been put in place in the town to mitigate any congestion.
That’s not the only place where people can get their capelin, however, with areas like Topsail Beach also being popular spots for people to head out with their buckets and nets.
