A 42-year-old man is on the hook for several charges after an alleged theft at a store in the west end yesterday afternoon.
Police got a call from the business around 2:30 and saw the suspect running away as they arrived on the scene.
Officers chased after the man, who was arrested after a brief pursuit.
He was charged with theft under $5,000, resisting arrest, failure to comply with a court order, and breach of probation.
