A random checkpoint by the RCMP in Catalina this week resulted in about 75 vehicles being checked but there were no impaired drivers.
In fact, RCMP found only two offending situations but each resulted in the seizure of the vehicle in question.
They say one diver had the wrong license plates attached, and could not provide proof of insurance. The 53-year-old was ticketed for both offences.
A 54-year-old man was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle.
