Firefighters from Nova Scotia are in Labrador helping battle wildfires that forced people out of their homes in Labrador West this week.
Some two dozen fires are burning in the region and one section, Walsh River, is still on an evacuation order.
The provincial forestry department says the Nova Scotia team will join a contingent of ground crews in the west.
The weather forecast is calling for cooler temperatures today with northerly winds around 40.
