Two Newfoundlanders skating in the QMJHL have been named to the training camp roster for the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
Quinn Norman and Ben Veitch have made the cut.
Veitch notched 21 points in 58 games last year in the QMJHL during his rookie campaign, while Norman recorded 13 points last season in the league.
It’s not the first time the pair will have donned the maple leaf. Both represented Team Canada at the U-17 World Hockey Challenge last fall.
Canada will open the Hlinka Gretzky Cup against Switzerland August 3rd.
