Police need help in finding a man who was travelling from Port aux Basques to St. John’s but whose car was found abandoned along the way.
Perry Green, who is 68, left the southwest coast at about 8:00 Monday morning. His family reported him missing when he did not show up.
Deer Lake RCMP found his vehicle in the Birchy Narrows area at about 6:00 this morning. Dogs, police and searchers have combed the area but with no success.
Green is Caucasian, 5’7″ tall and 155 pounds with blue eyes.
His vehicle is blue Chevrolet Trax, licence plate JWJ 649.
