Canada Cycles for Kids has made a hefty donation to the Janeway Foundation to help premature newborns who must stay in intensive care.
The $75,000 donation was made by Canada Cycles for Kids co-founder, Rob Fetherstonhaugh.
The funds will to purchase equipment which helps cool babies who have suffered oxygen deprivation, helping protect them from brain injury.
Canada Cycles for Kids raises money for sick kids through bike tours across Canada. The organization has raised more than $4.5 million for sick kids in Canada over the past 25 years.
