A man wanted by police in central Newfoundland is now facing a slew of new charges after being taken into custody on Tuesday night.
Twenty-seven-year-old Cody Torravillle caught the attention of police after they spotted him during proactive patrols on Monday.
Police say Torraville fled after they attempted to pull him over.
The following day the same vehicle was found outside a home in Grand Falls-Windsor, however Torraville would not go willingly with police. After an altercation, he sped away in what police say was a dangerous manner.
He was located a short time later in Bishop’s Falls and taken into custody without further incident.
Torraville is now facing charges of flight from police, dangerous driving, failing to comply with a probation order and driving while prohibited.
RCMP say further charges are possible.
