An investigation is underway following two recent fires that caused damage at an apartment building in Harbour Grace.

Both fires at Harvey Street Apartments were extinguished before they could spread.

The first occurred in the front lobby of the building shortly after midnight on Sunday morning, while the second was discovered in a hallway around 11:00 Monday night.

No injuries were reported.

The provincial Fire Commissioner’s Office is involved in the investigation.
