The traffic grid in Paradise is in for big change this weekend to allow for water and sewer construction activity.

The main road will be closed around Paradise Plaza from tomorrow morning to Sunday night.

Mayor Patrick Martin acknowledges that it will be an inconvenience, but local residents will still be able to access their properties.

Westbound traffic will be detoured through Clearview Heights, Lanark and Glendarek while eastbound will also be diverted.

Mayor Patrick Martin says the diversion will be in effect from 6:00 tomorrow morning until 9:00 Sunday night.

“Businesses like Paradise Plaza will still be able to be accessed through McNamara Drive and the new Tim Horton’s on Topsail Road, which is right in the middle of this, can be accessed through the west end,” says Mayor Martin.
