An unusual visitor to a cabin area in Labrador West is getting plenty of attention online.
A muskox, a creature native to the Arctic tundra, was recently caught on camera in the heavily-wooded Julien Lake area.
Sabrina Hunt captured the peculiar sighting on Saturday.

The Department of Forestry admits it’s a rare occurrence, Labrador West being well south of the animal’s known range.
The department says the stray would be considered an “exotic vagrant” – meaning it wandered outside its known migration range or habitat.
The department cannot say whether the animal’s presence is related to any population increases or habitat issues.
