The minister responsible for ACOA will be in St. Lawrence tomorrow to announce support for the province’s space and defence sectors.

NordSpace has been in the process of developing a commercial space launch facility on the tip of the Burin Peninsula for the last number of years.

The company says the development, once realized, will be the first operational Canadian orbital spaceport, and the country’s “gateway to space.”

Minister Sean Fraser will be in St. Lawrence tomorrow morning to announce what federal officials call “significant investment” for the local space and defence sectors.
