The lead police watchdog agency in Newfoundland and Labrador has charged a police officer with criminal harassment.
Constable Kameron Collins of the RNC also faces a charge of harassing communications.
The officer will be in court November 4th to answer to the charges, which were laid by the Serious Incident Response Team.
SIRT-NL is a civilian-led oversight agency, which conducts its own investigations into serious incidents. It says it will be making no further comment on the case as it is before the courts.
