The driver of a vehicle which broke down in the center city area of St. John’s yesterday afternoon now has more than just the car to worry about.
RNC stopped to offer assistance, but then found out the 29-year-old had not been honest about his identity. He now faces charges of lying to police, resisting arrest, and failing to comply with a court order.
The vehicle was impounded and the suspect was held overnight for court.
