Somebody tried to break into the United Church in Clarke’s Beach Wednesday night and while they could not get inside, they did cause a lot of damage.
The large front doors and some of the locking mechanisms were heavily damaged.
Built in 1874, it’s one of the oldest of the United Churches in the province.
Parishioners are asking anyone who witnessed anything or who has footage to contact Bay Roberts RCMP.
