The president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation says the hope is that they will have all of their American liquor sold off by Christmas.
There was a glimmer of hope last month when it looked like the NLC would start ordering American products again, however that idea was shelved after the breakdown of Canada-U.S. trade talks.

CEO Bruce Keating says last December they had roughly $3.2-million worth of alcohol to sell off, however that number had dropped significantly by the end of the first quarter of their fiscal year in July.
He says they have less than $300,000 worth of product left, and they anticipate that most – of not all – of that will be gone by Christmas.
