A man has been charged with impaired driving after police were alerted to a vehicle being driven dangerously in Marystown.

People reported a vehicle speeding and passing traffic in a dangerous manner Friday evening. The vehicle, open liquor inside, was stopped by police on McGettigan Boulevard.

The driver, a 38-year-old man from Beau Bois, failed a roadside breath test and, for good measure, had virtually no credentials to be on the road.

The man was released to appear in court in October.
