Some substantial wastewater upgrades will soon be happening in Nain.
Nearly $4-million has been set aside by the provincial, federal, and Inuit Community Government in Nain for the work, which will include replacing damaged sewer mains and manholes, installing inflow protectors, and completing surface grading work.
The province says the work will reduce the risk of sewer backups, protect the environment, make the wastewater service more reliable, and support future housing developments and population growth.
