Most government offices and facilities will be shut down today for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
As this is a shops closing holiday, most stores will also be closed with the exception of some restaurants, pharmacies and other locally-owned shops.
In St. John’s, garbage collection is moved to tomorrow, Robin Hood Bay will be closed, and paid parking restrictions will not be in place.
