RCMP in Sheshatshiu are investigating after a man was attacked and bitten by a dog.
RCMP say the victim was treated in hospital.
Billy Gauthier, a well known Inuit artist and activist living in the area was running on Montague Road when the dog lunged at him, grabbing him on the side and leaving deep puncture wounds on his body.
Gauthier says luckily someone picked him up, and the dog continued to chase the vehicle up Airstrip Road.
