A man and woman are facing a long list of weapons charges following their arrest by RNC Wednesday night.
The Constabulary were called to a report of damage caused in a parking lot on Hebron Way around 11:00.
Two occupants were arrested after the suspect vehicle – a camper – was found on Hebron Way. A loaded firearm and ammunition were found inside.
The camper was seized and further charges are pending.
In the meantime, Thomas Harvey and Nicole Blundell – both 42 years old – have been tagged with a number of firearms charges.
A full list of charges are as follows:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle
- Carelessly using a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon
- Unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Possessing a loaded prohibited firearm
- And a breach of firearms regulations.
Harvey is facing an additional charge of breaching a firearm prohibition order.
The pair were held to appear in court.
