A group of residents are presenting a petition before Paradise town council today to bring attention to safety concerns in the St. Thomas Line area.
Linda Maher told VOCM Open Line with Brian Callahan that a lack of sidewalks, particularly on the stretch of road between Hamilton’s Grocery and Holy Family makes it harder for pedestrians to walk the road and feel safe.

“There’s traffic coming from Thorburn Road, from Paradise Road, from Topsail Road, they all feed in to St. Thomas Line.”
“It’s really unsafe to walk out there.”
