A magnitude 4.3 earthquake reportedly struck coastal Labrador this afternoon.
Natural Resources Canada posted readings from around 2:30 this afternoon, after the quake triggered seismographic readings in two parts of Labrador.

According to the report, the earthquake struck about 17 kilometres east of Postville, at a depth of 18 kilometres.
Meanwhile, vibrations were measured on a seismographic reading in Schefferville, Quebec—about 450 kilometres away.

Magnitude 4.3 is considered a “light” earthquake, which may be felt but is unlikely to cause significant damage.
