An investigation is underway into a vehicle-pedestrian collision in downtown St. John’s involving an off-duty police officer.
Emergency crews were called to Harvey Road near the RNC Headquarters exit, shortly after 2 p.m.
According to an RNC spokesperson, the pedestrian was struck by an off-duty officer in their personal vehicle.
The officer remained on scene.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
