The family of Leeland Hill is asking for privacy to allow him a visit with his great-grandmother – a wish he sought through the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Little Leeland traveled across Newfoundland from Halifax to meet with his “great Granny” for a party at her retirement home in Kelligrews.

The Children’s Wish Foundation says the response from the public has been overwhelming and the family is requesting privacy to keep the wish experience to family and select invited guests to allow Leeland the opportunity to embrace the experience without distraction.

They say the Hill family is incredibly moved by the number of people who would like to share his heartfelt wish.
