Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro has eliminated a corporate position, but not before the traditional “golden handshake.”

Dawn Dalley was the chief media spokesperson for Hydro during one of its worst times in history: Dark NL.

She went to Nalcor after that, but returned to NL Hydro a few years ago as Vice President, Corporate Services. Hydro is combining that with another executive position.

Dalley gets a $550,000 compensation package in lieu of notice.

Kevin Fagan has been appointed as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Customer Service, which combines his and Dalley’s roles.
