Police say they are noticing increased speeds on our highways on the Avalon Peninsula which they attribute to improved driving conditions.
Late Friday afternoon, RCMP clocked a vehicle going 156 km/h on the TCH at Avondale.
The 39-year-old man’s vehicle was impounded and his licence suspended.
Police will be on the roads conducting enforcement to maintain public safety. #nltraffic
