Performers for the East Coast Music Awards show have been announced.

Among local performers Tim Baker, Damhnait Doyle & Eastern Owl other east coast nominees Rose Cousins, Wintersleep, Matt Mays and Natalie MacMaster are also scheduled to perform.

Shanneyganock will perform as they’ll be presented with the Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ron Hynes will also be honoured as he’ll be entered into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The 2020 ECMA award show is set for Thursday, April 30 at Mile One Centre and will be hosted by comedian Mary Walsh.
