A fundraising jam on Sunday at the Bella Vista in support of establishing a local Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame was a resounding success.
That’s according to Greg Dodd, one of the organizers of the event.
He says close to 200 fans were lined up outside the Bella Vista and they had to start the show early because so many people showed up.
Organizers were nervous about whether they’d get the support at a bigger venue and with weather pending, but they need not have worried says Dodd. The tables filled up immediately and they started a half hour early because of the high attendance.
Dodd says they’re now scouting for a brick and mortar location for a Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame and a further update is expected in the weeks ahead.
