The provincial government are reporting a high pass rating for school bus operations following fall school bus inspections conducted by Service NL.
92.9 per cent of school buses inspected receive a “pass” which means they were free of defects, or had minor defects that did not affect the safe operation of the vehicle.
Buses that do not pass inspection must be repaired and proof of the repair must be verified by Service NL.
All school buses in the province are subject to mandatory inspections.
