There will be just a modest drop in gasoline prices today.

The Public Utilities Board has authorized a decrease of up to just under one cent per litre.

The most significant change today is the cost of furnace oil, which goes up by about 10 cents per litre.

There’s virtually no change in the cost of diesel motor fuel on the island but in Labrador, it can drop by almost five cents.
