A portion of Topsail Road is closed to traffic until further notice as the result of a serious multiple vehicle collision.
Topsail Road from Cowan Avenue to Columbus Drive is closed, and drivers are being asked to find an alternate route.

Witnesses describe there being several vehicles involved, some of which are heavily damaged.
There is no immediate word on injuries.
