The provincial government is making the process of becoming an organ or tissue donor easier by being able to sign up online.
Back in 2016, the province moved consent for organ donation from a person’s driver’s licence to MCP.
The move was made to help increase the number of people who consent to organ and tissue donation after they die, and make it easier to track through the health care system.
As of this week, residents can link their MCP to their MyGovNL profile, and sign up for organ donation online.
