The Town of Conception Bay South will be waiving all permit fees beginning June 1 for the remainder of the year.

That includes decks, fences, general repairs and accessory buildings.

In a release, council noted that it is a challenging time for residents and businesses, and this fee elimination will help reduce financial hardship.

Residents will still be required to have a permit, however there will be no charge.
