The weather is warming up, and that means Metro residents will see more road work in the capital city.
Construction will begin from Peet Street to Pippy Place on Kenmount Road next month as upgrades to storm sewer infrastructure pick up from where they left off last year.
Work is expected to begin the first week of June. The hours of construction will be Monday to Friday and every second Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Construction is expected to continue for six months,

Traffic in the area will be down to one lane in each direction, and disruptions and slowdowns are expected. Pedestrian traffic will be forced to one side of the road during the project.
A traffic advisory will be issued before construction begins.
