RCMP have handed out tickets, and impounded a couple of machines after alleged violations related to dirt bike and ATV use on the Port au Port Peninsula.
RCMP ticketed a teen after observing a dirt bike crossing the highway and driving on the wrong side of the road in Lourdes on Monday.
It turns out the bike was not insured.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old Lourdes man was also ticketed for operating an ATV without insurance.
Both vehicles were seized.
