The work on the Trans Canada Highway near Holyrood has been completed, and traffic is flowing through smoothly.
The Department of Transportation and Works says the work was completed around suppertime yesterday.
The eastbound work finished up around 10 p.m.
Drivers faced major delays last week because of the work, resulting in Holyrood being gridlocked and delays of around four to five hours.
Contractor has completed work in the eastbound lanes.
Eastbound lanes have now reopened. #nltraffic https://t.co/ZD47csuAh9
