Harbour Drive was lined with motorcycles this afternoon as riders and enthusiasts gathered to honour one of their own, Chad Pitcher.
The 44-year-old was on his motorcycle waiting in traffic when he was killed by a driver on Topsail Road on May 11.

Hundreds of bikes came out to support the Pitcher family for the Chad Pitcher Memorial Ride 2020.
Organizer Don Drew says this is a motorcycle rider’s version of a wake.
Drew says the ride was not only a way to honour a member of the motorcycle community. He says it’s also about raising awareness to prevent needless acts and to make sure that all motorcycle riders can ride safely and make it home to their families.
Over a 500 bikes and more than 15 minutes of bikes parading past… Truly a sight to behold. On behalf of myself Don…
