There are no new COVID-19 cases reported in Newfoundland and Labrador again today.
Of the 261 confirmed cases in the province, 193 are locally-acquired—meaning they are linked to another known case or cluster. 61 cases are connected with travel, or someone who had close contact with someone else who traveled.

Of the 50 cases directly linked to travel, 46 are associated with international travel, while four were linked to travel inside the country. That’s according to statistics available on the province’s COVID-19 website.
Only seven cases in Newfoundland and Labrador were acquired through community transmission through an unknown source. One of those is in a long-term care home in St. Lawrence.
