The province is set to enter Alert Level 3 on Monday and that means some stores at the Avalon Mall will be opening up.
General Manager, Donna Vincent says there will be a limited number of stores open and things will look a little different for the next while.
She says many precautions were put in place to make customers comfortable.
Vincent says the first thing people will notice is that when you come up to the entrances, there are designated entry and exits only. Arrows are on the floor directing the flow of customers to show them where to walk. Hand sanitizing stations are at every entrance, elevators, washrooms, and other areas.
Vincent says the elevators are designated for two people only and there are decals to show how to properly distance; stairs are one way for the most part and they ask that customers on escalators leave 3 spaces between them.
She says updates on all the safety measures, which stores are open, and hours will be updated this weekend on the mall website.
