Registration is quickly filling for sporting and recreational programs in many parts of the province as some activities resume under Alert Level 3.
Executive Director of SportNL, Troy Croft says there is great interest in available programming.
He says some sports have seen record registration for opening day, which tells him that people are eager to get back to their favourite activities.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says baseball, soccer, and volleyball are among the sports which will be able to go ahead.
Croft expects with limited space, and restrictions to gatherings of 20 people or less, that most sports will resume with skills and drills rather than competitive play.
