A sad end to the search for a man reported missing following the sinking of the Sarah Anne out of St. Lawrence.

RCMP confirm the body of a man discovered by lobster fishermen on the beach at Doughboy Cove, Placentia Bay on Saturday is that of Isaac Kettle.

RCMP have informed his family.

Kettle was one of four crewmen who lost their lives after they failed to return to St. Lawrence from a fishing trip late last month.

The Transportation Safety Board is continuing to gather information surrounding the incident to determine if a formal investigation will be launched.
