The RCMP is advising users of the T’railway that a large and very hazardous washout has occurred approximately halfway between the Whitbourne / Markland access and Route 100, the Argentia Access Road.
Police responded to the scene around 10:30 last night. They say due to the severity of the washout, the T’railway is now inaccessible in this area.
The public is advised that the area is very dangerous with fast-moving water running through it and are asked to stay out of the area until repairs can be made.
Barricades are in place for safety purposes.
