The provincial government is uncertain whether it will introduce a budget before the interim supply expires.
Interim supply usually covers three months, but it was extended to six months because of the pandemic.

Finance Minister Tom Osborne says if things remain relatively stable over the next while, a budget will likely be introduced before the end of September, but that could change depending on circumstances.
He says he does not want to bring in a budget which is not worth the paper it’s written on.
