As Newfoundland and Labrador prepares to enter Alert Level Two tomorrow, concerns over an expected second wave of COVID-19 remain.
That’s according to pollster David Coletto of Abacus Data.
He says while the number of new COVID cases are dropping across most of the country, fears and concerns remain—especially about an expected second wave of the virus.
He says while people are impatient and want things to return to normal, more than 60 per cent of Canadians asked admit fears about a second COVID spike are a growing concern.

Meanwhile, recent survey results show a majority of Canadians turned to traditional media to get the latest information on the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coletto says radio and television were the choices of most Canadians in seeking out trusted information.
He says a recent survey found that 70 per cent of Canadians were tuning in daily for the latest updates, a rate of consumption not seen before.
There are no known active cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.
