The jaws of life were used to free two people from a vehicle involved in a collision Wednesday afternoon on the Trans Canada Highway in Whitbourne.

The Whitbourne Volunteer Fire Department remains on the scene, which is located on a blind hill.

Fire Chief Jamie Budden is advising drivers to use caution in the area.

Budden says injuries are unknown at this time.
