Lower oil prices as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic will hamper economic recovery in Newfoundland and Labrador, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
That’s according to Morguard’s latest Economic Outlook.
The real estate company’s Second Quarter update says slower recoveries were also forecasted in regions more dependent on tourism.
Morguard says an uneven economy is expected to unfold over the new few years as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
