Two men will appear before the judge this morning following separate assaults in opposite ends of the capital city yesterday.
The first incident occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. when police were called to reports of an assault in the east end of St. John’s.
As a result, a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault and breach of a court order.
Then, around 8 p.m. police received reports of a domestic disturbance in the west end of the city.
In that case, a 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with breaching a court order.
Both men were held for court.
